SOIL SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS

Victoria Logistic, within caring for improving production of its business partners and achieving better results, provides the services of soil sampling and analysis, for which we are recognised not only in our country, but also in the region.
Soil sampling is performed by the latest automatic vehicular equipment for sampling, which provides numerous advantages in relation to the manual method, so that the work performance is greater and the possibility of human error is reduced to a minimum. Thanks to the automated process, all of the instructions are given from the vehicle boot, and every individual sample is taken from the same given depth.
By using GPS technology when mapping the parcels, we get precise parcel coordinates and surfaces, which enable the following:
- if a different content of feed is established in certain samples through analysis, each of them can be fertilised by appropriate formulation and amount of fertiliser
- after four years, when the analysis of the soil is performed again, the sample is taken from the same place - monitoring the dynamics of the change in content of the feed
WHY is it necessary to perform the chemical analysis of soil?
Not all the soils have equal amount of nutrients - their different content depends on the soil main substrate, its exploitation and fertilising. Beside that, every year we take away from the manufacturing surfaces certain amount of biogenous elements necessary for the regular growth of plants, which is why it is necessary to return them into the soil by fertilising. It should be taken into consideration that every plant species has specific needs for certain nutrients; that their low content inevitably results in lower yield, but that their high content also isn’t desirable, because it influences the adoption of other nutrients and can create problems in manufacturing for years.
In order to determine the content of nutrients in the soil, monitoring of its change dynamics, as well as sustaining the optimal level of insuring the most important nutrients, it is necessary to perform soil sampling and chemical analysis. Soil analysis presents the basis for the rational application of the mineral fertiliser, which enables optimal amounts of appropriate feed for cultivated plants and through which a significant amount of money can be saved.
WHEN is the best time to perform sampling?
It is best to perform sampling after harvesting crops, while the soil is settled and is in a physically undisturbed state. After finishing the production season, it is the right time to perform the soil analysis and determine the content of feed.
