A successful practical cooperation between the School of Agriculture in Futog and Victoria Logistic

The Expert Service of Victoria Logistic and the School of Agriculture in Futog have been cooperating for five years in order to improve education in this academic institution. During the year, the expert service of our company organized practical field work training with a demonstration of the results of precision agriculture based on the latest expert and scientific knowledge in the field of agriculture, both for students and teachers. In this production year, the focus was on the use of soil tillage technology, soil analysis, fertilization based on recommendations of experts and the application of the Corum herbicide for the protection from weed and rodent control.

On a parcel of land of the School of Agriculture in Futog, over a surface area of 21.26 ha, the soybean harvest was completed with an average yield of 3.88 t/ha. During the spring floods, on the aforementioned parcel of land, 0.5 hectares of soybeans were destroyed, on which the harvest had not yet performed, so that on the remaining 20.76 ha of soil, the yield was 3.98 t/ha.

Cooperation continues this year with the participation of Victoria Logistic professional associates in certain segments of theory lectures and practice in the field, which began with the analysis of soil for the upcoming sowing of wheat.
